Study Technology teaches a person HOW to learn. This Technology is a proven method of learning which identifies three primary barriers to study and provides the remedy for each barrier.

The final result is an individual who is able to absorb information with full comprehension and will gain the ability to apply the material learned.

It even establishes aptitude by enabling the student to become an independent and eager learner, who loves to study and thereby learns how to do new things.

Study Technology consists of tools and techniques teachers can use to improve the learning rates of their students. It is not a collection of study tips or memory tricks, but rather a system of learning how to learn.

Using Study Technology brings about an understanding that results in the ability to apply what one learns at school, in one’s work and in life. It it forms the basis of the success of all Applied Scholastics educational programs around the world.

What Maths Teachers learn during the program

On our training a Maths teacher will learn:

  •  Why learners manifest lack of commitment and motivation to study Maths
  •  What makes the subject of Maths difficult for a learner
  •  What specific barriers a learner runs into when studying a subject and if not handled may cause them to fail this subject

THE PROCESS

How does maths teacher training work?

Organizing

Fill out our request a quote form at the bottom of this page and our consultant will contact you with all information needed to start. Group discounts apply.*

Program – Phase One

Our program begins with the on site or online seminar for all the attending Maths teachers. Our seminar is 2,5 hours long. During this seminar Maths teachers acquire knowledge on how to effectively teach learners Maths and start to practice the knowledge.

Program – Practical Phase

Now that teachers are equipped with the knowledge they will start practicing what they have learned and honed in their skills in teaching Maths effectively. The duration of this phase is around 3-4 weeks.

Resources

Each teacher will receive a Maths Understanding Made Simple kit which includes manuals and resources to be used as a teacher to enhance and support their teaching as well as to effectively help their learners to increase their understanding and application of Maths.

Certification

Our program is SACE accredited and upon successful completion of the training a Maths teacher will receive a SACE certificate.

Support

Our friendly support team is always on standby to help a teacher during the program. Monthly online support sessions, special extra help in the form of FREE e-books, motivation, sharing of experiences from other teachers on the program is just some of the ways we support our Maths teachers.
